Bryan "Love" Jordan
Executive Director, President, and Secretary, is a founding member of the Guided By Purpose Re-entry Initiative, Inc. He was incarcerated for eighteen years. He spent his time incarcerated helping incarcerated individuals study law and mentoring younger people. Currently, he is a dual student of Yale University and the University of New Haven seeking a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and law. He's also GBP Organization Structural Manager, Project Manager and Business Financial Analysis.
Jeffrey "Sheim" Perry
Co- Executive Director, Vice-President, Assistant to Program Director, and Volunteer Coordinator, is a founding member of the Guided By Purpose Re-entry Initiative, Inc. He was incarcerated for nearly thirty years. Throughout his incarceration, Sheim was a mentor to countless incarcerated individuals assisting them with legal issues and participated in several programs including the Turning Point Program for at-Risk Juveniles. He's also a Conflict Resolution Facilitator, Self Help Rehabilitation Facilitator and Project Manager.
Carvaughn Johnson
Director of Programs And Education and Assistant Volunteer Coordinator, is a founding member of Guided By Purpose Re-entry Initiative, Inc. He has been incarcerated for the past 22 years. While incarcerated, he has mentored and tutored over thirty people to obtain their High School Diploma. Carvaughn has remained persistent and dedicated to fighting his convictions. That persistence and dedication led to a reversal of his convictions and sentence. He is expected to be released in 2028.
